Four Ways to Naturally Combat Loneliness

Does this time of year inspire a feeling of loneliness in you? Read on to learn four ways to naturally combat seasonal loneliness.

This time of year can be extremely difficult emotionally for some. 

 

The cooler weather, earlier darkness during the day leading up to the night, end-of-the-year and holiday pressures can build up and isolation can be tempting.

 

Here are four ways to combat loneliness:

 

  1. Swap out screen time for a minimum of 20 minutes of reading.

 

  1. Get creative! Write, paint, sing, dance--express yourself!

 

  1. If you have a support system, utilize it. Stay connected with family and friends.

 

  1. Date yourself. Spend the alone time in a positive way,  challenging yourself and learning new things. 



...Always remember that you are cherished and have value.
