Our Favorite Forest Bathing & Hiking Locations
In our last newsletter about forest bathing, we mentioned giving recommendations on where to go in the local Bay Area. The Bay Area is home to some world-renowned views and some of the oldest redwoods in California.

In our last newsletter about forest bathing, we mentioned giving recommendations on where to go in the local Bay Area. The Bay Area is home to some world-renowned views and some of the oldest redwoods in California. So we only felt it was right to share some of our top favorite locations to visit.

Forest bathing locations:

  • Muir Woods: Right off the 101. This is one of the most famous places to stand amongst some of the oldest redwoods in California.
  • Armstrong Woods: This location has less foot traffic than Muir Woods, which gives you lots of opportunities to be alone and listen to pure silence. It’s tucked away in Guerneville, the quaintest little town split down the middle by the Russian River.

Hiking trails:

  • Mt. Tamalpais: Not only are you surrounded by trees, but the grandeur of Marin is below you as you climb to the top of one of the most magnificent lookout points in the entire Bay Area, if not all of California.
  • Marin Headlands: This is another excellent location for magnificent views.
  • Bear Valley Trail.
  • Audubon Canyon Ranch.
